Another New Beginning: The Story Behind Blooming Everglow
Hi friend,
I have something special to share — something that’s been blooming quietly in the background for a while now. And honestly? I’m a little nervous about saying it out loud.
I’m starting a creative business. And her name is Blooming Everglow.
Blooming Everglow
This is more than a name. It’s a soft beginning — a space where I hope you’ll feel safe to create, explore, be inspired, and glow in your own way.
It still seems unreal that this is happening and that I am officially a small business owner!
For a long time, I didn’t think something like this was “for me.” I’ve always been creative, sure — but between nursing shifts, life responsibilities, and just trying to stay afloat most days, creativity turned into something I only dreamed about!
But something changed over the past two years. I started drawing again. I made silly doodles, painted in my sketchbook, and let myself play — even if the results weren’t “good.” And somewhere along the way, I realized: this isn’t just about making art. This is about coming home to myself.
That’s where Blooming Everglow comes from. It’s more than a name. It’s a reminder that even when life feels heavy or messy or uninspired, that creative spark in us never really disappears. It just waits for the right moment to glow again.
So… I’m following that glow.
This summer, I’ll be selling my art at a local farmers market for the very first time (!!). I’m nervous. I’m excited. I’m making stickers and prints and probably overthinking what kind of tablecloth I need. But more than anything, I’m just proud of myself for trying.
This blog, this space, is going to be part of that journey. I’ll still be sharing stories and creative reflections (like my book obsession era, let’s be honest), but I’ll also be talking more about what it’s like to build something new — slowly, imperfectly, but with a whole lot of heart.
Whether you’re here as a fellow artist, a nostalgic bookworm, or someone just trying to find joy again, I’m so glad you’re here. This is your field of Everglows, too.
Here’s to blooming at our own pace.
With love,
Stephanie
P.S.— expect to see a lot of cosmetic changes to the website and how things will flow in order to align completely with Blooming Everglow—coming soon!
